Motivation

1) Mobile internet traffic and multimedia traffic are on the rise.

2) The mobile network does not readily take advantage of P2P

capabilities.

Conclusion

● SAPOM - lightweight SDN architecture for offloading P2P traffic

○ 50% reduction of latency for P2P connections

○ Removes P2P traffic congestion for EPC
