GRAVIMETRIC BLENDER - The new version of DGM GRAVIX has the innova- tive touch-screen interface that, thanks to the parameters representation with icons, allows an easier and more intuitive management of the machine and of the processes by the user. Gravix has been completely redesigned and, due to the particular hardware and software archi- tecture of the control system, offers im- portant opportunities linked with the high connectivity. It is possible to download process data through the USB port or Ethernet port. With a minor system supplementation the user can switch to wireless management. The DGM GRAVIX dosing unit range includes 7 sizes of machines for throu- ghputs from 30 to 5,000 kg/h with the possibility of dosing up to 12 materials. STORAGE BINS -The CS series storage bins are usefully designed for storage, conveying and han- dling of plastics materials. Availa- ble in five standard sizes from 40 to 670 dm 3 , made entirely of stain- less steel, with a lid and withdrawal sensor, they maintain the granule in a suitable environment, protected from ambient contamination. TEMPERATURE CONTROLLERS - Moretto has developed a range of tempe- rature controllers involving the availability of eight product families in different versions: direct and indirect exchange, pressurised, pressure vacuum and diathermic oil up to 250°C. DRYERS - Moretto supplies a complete range of equipment for plastics dehumidifying.

The new version of the X DRY AIR is equipped with the easy touch-screen programming and the automatic airflow.Thanks to their compact size, mini dryers are suitable to be directly in-stalled on the processing machine.Operation is guaranteed using circuit compressed air even if a previous drying treatment has not been carried out. Constant high efficiency level with dew point up to -55°C.

X Dryer is an unique and exclusive flexible dehumidifying system for engineering plastics. The system requires only two parameters to be set: type of material to be treated and hourly throughput. The antistress system protects the polymers from excessive residence time and/or overheating during the drying process, at the same time providing con-siderable energy savings.

X MAX has been developed in modular design for the realization of large systems. With the coupling of the modules, it is possible to realize sy-stems up to 20,000 m3/h. Each unit includes a process blower, a tower of zeolite and the dew point control device. A local PLC with a color touch screen display guarantees a simple and intuitive interface.

HOT AIR DRYERS - The hot air dryers have been specifically designed to treat non-hygro-scopic thermoplastic granules.Temperature is electronically controlled by pulse train with a solid state relay. The VIEWER system ensures easy control and a special on-hopper configuration makes them very compact machi-nes. The units can be installed on the machine or adjacent. 12 generators and 19 hopper sizes are available to meet all drying requirements.

SUCTION UNIT - For dusty material, the suction units can be combined with a series of cyclone filters with automatic filter cleaning. The by-pass valve can be used for more demanding applications. The suction units are combined with a series of containers. These applications can be configured in the required solu-tion by means of the handy Master 200 control palmtop.

CYCLONE FILTER - The cyclone fil-ters are a very effective solution to filte-ring problems in conveying plants. By using a cyclone effect, all the dust par-ticles are centrifuged and separated, thus increasing the service life of the two-micron capacity cellulose filters. A by-pass valve, automatic filter, clea-ning by implosion and a storage con-tainer for the filtered dust are the main features of this equipment. It is availa-ble in six sizes for all applications.

KASTOR GRINDER - Kastor is a low-speed granulator suitable for grinding technical materials. It is able to process sprues or moulded parts, due to the use of an auto-reverse de-vice, allowing the machine to be freed in the event of jamming. Due to the

low rotation speeds, noise has been redu-ced to a very low level and the resultant regrind is regular and free of powder and dust. Wear is also dramatically reduced.

GRINDERS - The granulators in the GR series come in three sizes, each available in two versions: Uniblade with an angled blade and Multiblade with several blades for better cutting power utilisation. The GR Variant series is equipped with a grinding speed adjustment device. It is ideal for dealing with hot and soft sprues. The ECO range is completely sound-proofing. These machines, with a large grinding capacity, are built to withstand heavy-duty applica-tions and are ideal for use in waste recovery departments.

RATIO VALVE - The ratio valve is used for direct recovery of the regrind material. Its purposely designed shape makes it ideal for this type of application. The valve is programmed by direct setting of the material percentages and its control circuit is integrated in the hopper loader board.

STATIC MIXER - Static mixers provide a solid support for the entire dosing unit. The inspection window, which can be easily opened for cleaning, facilitates control of the regular flow of material and additive.

VOLUMETRIC BLENDER - The DVM volumetric blender is an easy to use and reliable machine. The control unit is based on a microprocessor, which makes programming very flexible, and a motorised screw controlled by inverter, thus ensuring high performance. An important feature of this equipment is the ability to directly set the dosing percentage.

SINGLE PHASE HOPPER LOADER - The single-phase hopper loaders have been specifically designed for the transport of pla-stic granules by vacuum. Entirely made of stainless steel, they are equipped with a large and highly visible signalling lamp and a solid, sturdy die-cast aluminium fixing flange. They come with fabric filters and automatic cleaning as standard.
