    Date: July 11, 2015.

Course/ Instructor: Comm 130- Cory Kerr

Programs/ Tools: Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Objectives: Create a brochure to effectivley portray a message.

Process: First I opened a 12 by 4 inch document on indesign. I then placed rulers at the 4 inch mark and the 8 inch mark to create 3 4 by 4 boxes. I then drew diagonal lines on the outer boxes to create a guide for my triangular folds. I placed an image that I took at Yellowstone in one of the triangles and selected my other colors from the image to create repetition. For the images of the girls on their phones and the hiker I used the pen tool in Photoshop to cut them out. I then used a text wrap on both images I placed a white box in the center image of the wood to create a frame effect before putting text into it. I created the logo in illustrator and placed it to be on the front of the brochure.

I also used the clone stamp tool to remove some large sprinklers that were far off in the background. I used simple rectangles on top of the image to add a place where the eyes could be drawn to the text. • WebpageDescription: A webpage used to display a logo I created.

    Date: June 27, 2015

Course/ Instructor: Comm 130- Cory Kerr

    Programs/ Tools: html, css

Objective: design a webpage for a buisness using a logo I created.

Process: I created this webpage using notepad 2. I didnt have any previous expe-rience using css or html so this proved to be a learning experience. It was fun to learn that you can create designs simply using text. First I put all my content into the html file to create the text of the page, I then connected a css file that had al-ready been created. At this point I centered the logo at the top to create a stronger visual appeal. Using photoshop I found the codes for the color within the logo and placed them into the css file allowing the webpage to match. I also coded the fonts to use a sans serif such as ariel as the heading and a serif font such as Georgia as the body text.
