RESULTS & DISCUSSIONS3 water Samples taken for test..
The average results shown besides.
The outstanding factor from water quality test is:-
• the high level of Biological pollution in the river water.
•High level of turbidity experienced and colour fail.

SUMMARY• Specific Objective 1: Water Quality Test performed at the University
Water Laboratory helped determine the raw water quality.
• Specific Objective 2: Data (Example Population) I used to obtain
water utilisation demand.
• Specific Objective 3: With water utilisation need, the specifications for
the raw water treatment works was achieved; Sharing of walls between
some tanks/basins, water conveyance by gravity: reduce construction
costs: minimize the pumping costs respectively
results to reduced water cost to the end users.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
• This design of a water treatment plant meets the general design criteria for water treatment plants. It meets its set objective catering for the rising water demands of Njoro Area as per the Sustainable Development Goal and contributes to Kenya Vision 2030 goals.
• Before implementation the following should be done: design of other civil works, a water distribution system, BOQ, A sewerage system design and comprehensive EIA.
