Palletized & waiting for APHIS approval

To avoid confusing

/mixing of the awaiting

articles, place label on

ll tpallet.

2.APHIS/NPPO INSPECTS FRUITS

3. After the APHIS approves the fruit to be irradiated,

place TIC stickers on products and wrap with

plastic sheetplastic sheet.

4. Load stacked products in carriers and put the

dosimeters on reference positions.

5. Exposure to the Gamma ray in the radiation

chamber.

6. Unload irradiated fruits and wait for absorbed dose

result in irradiated area.

7. Measure the absorbed dose and send the report form to

APHIS InspectorAPHIS Inspector.

8. Report all the results via IRAD program. APHIS

Inspector certified the data and prepare PPQ 203 for Inspector certified the data and prepare PPQ-203 for

exporter

9. The container must be approved by

APHIS/NPPO before loading the irradiated fruits

sealed by 3 of sticker strips across the door edge of the container to prevent the opening before loadingprevent the opening before loading treated article.
