CPD Preparation Process Phase 2 cont.

• Second round of workshops

– CHoPS, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Polokwane, Mbombela, and NMBM.

• Comment period during 2015. The draft documents as well as approved documents had been available on the SACPLAN website since 2015.

EXAM • Professional examination is a crucial pre-requisite for

professionals to be recognised internationally.

• The examination will set a national benchmark, providing consistency in the standard of planners entering the professional arena.

• Exam

– Assist in assessing a Candidate’s suitability for admission to full professional or technical registration.

– Evaluate his/her understanding, comprehension, interpretation and ability to the SACPLAN Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct,
