Tank & Rail CarsRaw materials used in the manufacture of paint products are often delivered to thefacility in liquid form. SANDPIPER pumps are used to unload tank trucks and railway cars.

Storage TanksResins, solvents and other fluids are pumped from storage tanks to mixing tanksusing SANDPIPER pumps.

Pre-Mixing TanksResins, solvents and pigments are combined in pre-mixing tanks. After they are mixed,the emulsion is pumped to a paint mill using SANDPIPER pumps.

Milling & GrindingAfter mixing, the pre-mixed pigment is thoroughly “milled” taking out the clumps.SANDPIPER pumps are used to pump the solutions to be dispersed.

StrainingStraining is the final process in the production. Paint is pumped to the strainer usingSANDPIPER pumps for final filtration.

FillingDrums, buckets or pails are filled and sealed for shipment during the filling processSANDPIPER pumps are used in the process.
