FeelDirty corridors and stairs

People just don’t seem to care

They spit and throw all kinds of stuff

It’s time that we all said ENOUGH!

ENOUGH!

ENOUGH!!

ENOUGH!!!

What if we could have instead

Walls with flowers pink and red

Happy colors, stairways clean

How can we realize this dream?

IMAGINE

We asked questions…thought and thought

And then an idea we got …

What if we could paint and clean

All together as a team

Happy walls and staircase bright

What a warm and cheerful sight!

We cleaned and mopped the stairs and floor

Our volunteers helped us some more

They scraped and white-washed walls for us

It was all fun, there was no fuss

And when the walls were nice and white

We went and bought some colors bright!

DO…

And everybody came to see

What the wall was going to be

Children, mothers… fathers too

Came to watch and see this through

Busy hands worked as a team

To get the walls to gleam and beam

DO…

We took turns to paint the flowers

The sun, the trees took several hours

It took three days to get this done

We all pitched in …and it was fun!
