My name is Amir.

I have three sisters. I have one older sister, and two younger sisters.

I have two pets.

One of my pets is a dog, and her name is Sandy.

She is 6 years old.

My other pet is a hamster and his name is Fluffy.

He is only 1 year old.

For fun, I like to go jogging, read, and take photographs. I also love music and art. Traveling is another activity that I enjoy.

I´m from The United States of America, which we also call “the U.S.” for short.

The U.S. is a very large country, and we have many states. Who knows how many states are in the U.S.?

There are 50 states in the US.

The city I´m from is called Los Angeles.

Los Angeles is in California.

Who can tell me which state Los Angeles is in?

In Los Angeles, there are many beaches. It´s a very big city. The weather is usually warm and sunny.

For example, many people like to go surfing, go shopping, or eat at restaurants. Los Angeles is also home to the LA Lakers, a famous basketball team that many people like.

Los Angeles is also famous for Hollywood. Hollywood is where a lot of American movies are made, and where a lot of famous actors live.

In the U.S., we have many holidays that we celebrate, and some are similar to Spanish holidays.

New Years Eve is usually celebrated by watching fireworks.

Valentines Day is celebrated on February 14th.

Independence Day is celebrated on July 4th

Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in November, and it´s a special time

where we get together with all of our relatives and family and eat a lot of

food! This is one of my favorite holidays.

We also celebrate Christmas on December 25th. Kids wake up in the morning to find lots of presents under the Christmas tree.

The US is a very diverse country, and many Americans come from all over the world. So some people celebrate different holidays and have different traditions.
