“The 1:38 Women’s Conference is an important opportunity for women to do something for themselves spiritually in an environment geared exclusively to them. I am proud to have this conference take place in our diocese and I encourage women to make the effort to partic-ipate in it. The investment of just half a day is rewarded with the chance to revitalize your faith in the company of many other women who, like you, want to live and grow in their faith in the rough and tumble of every-day life. I look forward to spending this day with you and pray for God’s blessing upon the conference.” - The Most Reverend Lawrence T. Persico, JCL, Bishop of Erie The conference will be held on Saturday, April 21, from 9AM to 3:30 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Erie with check-in beginning at 8AM. Registra-tion is only $40 per person, $35 for senior citizens or groups of 8, $25 for college students, $10 for high school students, and free for religious sisters, and this includes lunch and free parking.
Enjoy fellowship and inspiring national speakers: Sister Jane Dominic Laurel, a Dominican Sister from Nashville, TN; Katie Hartfiel from Houston, TX; and Patty Schneier from St Louis, MO, along with adoration and the opportunity for reconciliation. The event will conclude with Mass offered by Bishop Lawrence Persico. For more information and to register visit www.138women.com or call 814-455-7364
