PEOPLE OF ACTION

Our Club offers countless opportunities for our members — and those interested in making a difference — to get involved. Through meetings, social events, volunteer projects, and support of many community activities, our members learn about the issues facing our community and communities all over the world. We partner with local, national, and global experts to exchange ideas about possible solutions and to create action plans to respond. We work hard to make it happen. We're productive, we have great fun and and we develop great business and personal networks. Working together on meaningful projects leads to wonderful results, to many great business connections and to lifelong friendships.

Our Club is very proud to be part of our wonderful Lincoln community and of Rotary International. Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million members serving in 35,000 clubs. Each and every member believes that great things happen when dedicated minds come together. We are community and business leaders representing different professions, experiences, and perspectives, but we all share a strong desire to connect with others to address the challenges affecting our community and communities around the world.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Solving real problems takes real effort, commitment and vision. Rotarians work to protect communities from preventable diseases, keep women and children healthy, improve education and economic conditions, create safe water and sanitation infrastructure, and make the world a more peaceful place.

We are working with great partners on many projects. The following are just a very few examples:• Lincoln Senior Center• Lincoln High School Scholarships• McBean Dog Park Funding• Camp Clay Youth Day• Lincoln Little League• Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief• Ending polio — The leader in reducing reported

polio cases from 350,000 cases per year to 8 cases this year. Our goal is 0 cases now and forever.
