Considered the proposal submitted by the Block Project Co-coordinator (SSA),Inspector of School(State),Kanchanpur, North Tripura for diversion of 0.10 acresForest Landfor construction of School Building for up-gradation of NRSTC,Naisingpara for ReangMigrantChildren of Mizoram at Naisingpara, Kanchanpur, North Tripura under 3(2) of ScheduledTribe and other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights)Act, 2006 and alsoperused the resolution adopted by the concerned Gram Sabhaon the proposal of the UserAgency as well as site inspection report and recommendation of the Range Officer,Kanchanpur, and hereby accord approval under Section 3(2) of the ScheduleTribe & othersTraditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights)Act, 2006 read with the guidelinescommunicated by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India vide No.F. 23011/15/2008 SG-II dated, 18-05-2009 for diversion of 0.10 acresForest Land appertaining to C.S. plot No.2531(P) & Khatian No. 3/88 of Mouja- Gachirampara (GPSreading N-23 53'58.63" E-9213'11.51") for construction of School Building for up-gradation of NRSTC, Naisingpara forReang Migrant Children of Mizoram at Naisingpara, Kanchanpur, North Tripura subject tofollowing conditions:-

i) The forest land should not be utilized for any purpose other than specified inthe proposal.

ii) The diverted forest land would be appropriated by the Forest Department ifthe activity for which the land has been diverted is not started within 1(one)year of handing over the land to the UserAgency.

iii) Legalstatusof land will remain unchanged.

iv) Not more than 50(fifty) nos. trees/ha should be felled for implementation ofthe project within the limits of the diverted land.

v) Disposalof the treesshould be done by the ForestDepartment.

vi) The User Agency shall plant at least twice the number of trees likely to beifelledin the project or adjacent area and also provide annually for protection andmaintenance of these plants for at least 5(five) years and submit a confir'l1ationto that effect.

It is further ordered that the Range Officer, Kanchanpur shall demarcate thearea of forest' land approved for diversion & hand over the same to the User Agency iunderthe supervision of the Gram Sabha, and the User Agency should fix RCC pillars aloeg theboundary of the diverted land. .u-. n ~
