Humanitarian Emergencies Short Course
• 1 week long, in Cleveland• Provides preparation needed
to work effectively on behalf of vulnerable populations in a disaster setting
• A solid mix of didactic lectures and problem-based learning exercises targeted at a variety of skill levels
Funding opportunities for research in Global Health & Disease
• The Rottman Family award supports research on international infectious diseases (especially HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria) in a resource-limited site. Medical students from all years are eligible. Awards up to $6,000.00 to a maximum of 6 awards will be made annually. Submission deadline in early summer.
