Humanitarian Emergencies Short Course

to work effectively on behalf of vulnerable populations in a disaster setting

Funding opportunities for research in Global Health & Disease

• The Rottman Family award supports research on international infectious diseases (especially HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria) in a resource-limited site. Medical students from all years are eligible.   Awards up to $6,000.00 to a maximum of 6 awards will be made annually. Submission deadline in early summer. Contact Dean Ornt’s office for information ([email protected])

• Hearst Family award of $2,500 supports students in conducting public health-related research during the summer
