T Traweek
Join me congratulating T Traweek on his retirement.
After 22 years of service to CFISD, T has decided to
embrace retirement. T has 40+ years experience
programming various computer systems. CFISD,
especially the ISA Team, will miss T immensely! His
knowledge, personality and servant heart will be
hard to replace. Though we will miss him more than
words can express, we are excited for him as he
begins the next chapter of his life.
He begins his new role in retirement on
Wednesday, December 22, 2016.
Come by and help us congratulate him
and properly welcoming T to his new role.

Just to put it in perspective,
in Region 4 there are a total
of 106 Entities only 46 are
certified and we are one of
them. State wide only 804
of 1,321 reporting Entities
are certified. Remember we
are the 3rd largest school
district and are certified.
We are very proud of our
Payroll and ISA team.

Attendance system works and asked
great question. After the meeting she
has a better idea of what she want
and will outline in detail the reports
she would like to have.

One of the issues that was discussed with Sorayda Moyeda-Young
team was the missing employees punches that could affect payroll
checks and an increase work load on the payroll staff. Missing
punches are due to a clock that is no longer communicating with the
server.
To help solve the issue Rich Crishock, Senior Programmer /
Analyst, wrote a program to identify time clocks that are not
communicating. The program has already been a valuable asset.
Thornton Custodial clock, seen pictured to the left, was only off-line
today. The other clocks are extra clocks use at special times of the
year and are off-line the remainder of the year.
Rich is refining the process to email the departments responsible.
The email will alert the department the day a clock is off line. This
direct communication is reducing the clock down time.
Clocks don’t lose data when offline but timely synchronizations with
the server are very important to an accurate payroll check!

The final signature tab was completed and installed. This page
verified that all required fields are completed prior to allowing the new
employee to submit the form.
If a required field is not completed, the employee will be notified and
directed to the proper tab to complete the required information before
allowing them to submit the entire form.

Amazing things happen everyday. Sometimes it easy, like a beautiful
rainbow over ISC-W. Other times you have to look deeper.
This week we say goodbye to T Traweek who is retiring. We have
worked side by side for 22+ years . T’s rainbow is that he will now
have time for his bucket list. I am truly going to miss my friend. I have
two rainbows: One is that we have Son who is working very hard to
absorb all of T’s knowledge and I believe he will be a wonderful asset
to our team. Two, our Business Services Team is excelling and I am
proud of the work they do.
