Non-oxidizing biocides are used across industry to control microbiological activity in a wide range of water systems, often in rotation with oxidizing biocides. Biocidal performance is concentration dependant, so it is essential to monitor the activity levels closely in any system to ensure microbiological control.
Our non-oxidizing biocide test kits are based on titrametric and colorimetric procedures and are designed for field use by non-technical staff. Accurate biocide levels can be measured in minutes to ensure continued system control.
There is also a developing sensitivity to non-oxidizing biocide pollution of waterways from industrial waste, particularly from cooling tower bleed. The non-oxidizing biocide test kits provide a simple solution to ensure bleed concentrations are in line with environmental requirements.
