infrastructure funding ($22M)

The Oral Health Therapist Graduate Year Program is funded by the Australian Government Department of HealthWe use 3 touchstones for this program:It must help develop the skills and efficiency of new graduate oral health therapistA lot of taxpayers money is going to support you and the clinics involved, so were looking to see some oral health benefits for the community; andFinally, this is skewed towards having more oral health therapists practise in the public health sector, either by more oral health therapists entering or perhaps through some staying longer

Wonderful experience so far. I feel very fortunate to be allowed this opportunity and will definitely seek employment within the Government sector next year. Thank you!

My mentors are providing great support are always friendly, approachable and are always willing to have a chat regarding any cases

The Oral Health Therapist Graduate Year Program is funded by the Australian Government Department of HealthSome feedback from 2014 GraduatesDefinitely, this program has opened my eyes, especially in regards to Aboriginal oral health and dental care in the remote setting. I hope that I can continue working rurally and in the public sector next year.

In the last month i have learnt so much, seen patients with conditions that you only here about in a text book

I've been having interesting and challenging patients, have been seeing mostly children however and have asked to see more adult patients if possible (management of periodontal disease)
