Dear Friends, I am pleased to present the 2020 Boston Centers for Youth & Families Summer Guide. Boston Centers for Youth & Families is one of the most important departments in the City, and it’s difficult to describe how big of an impact they have on Boston residents. BCYF’s 36 centers are in nearly every neighborhood of Boston. They offer affordable, accessible, and high-quality opportunities for children and families, all year long—but especially during the busy summer months. Our BCYF facilities are welcoming and accessible to all, and most programming is low or no cost. Inside this brochure you will find a wealth of programming options like day camps, neighborhood block parties, free daily activities, swimming lessons, fitness classes, computer instruction and much more. Summer is a great time to be in Boston. BCYF has a lot to offer, but make sure you also check out other programs the City of Boston will be offering this summer at boston.gov/summer. I look forward to seeing you and your family as I travel the City all season long. Sincerely, Martin J. Walsh Mayor of Boston
