Please join us in supporting this year’s American Heart Association’s Heart Walk scheduled for Saturday, September 11 in Sundance Square.

Last year, Cook Children’s participation included 41 Heart Walk Team Captains who recruited 268 walkers. We raised more than $27,000 for the American Heart Association, placing Cook Children’s in 8th place for Tarrant Country companies who participated in the Heart Walk.

To get everyone excited about the Heart Walk, we are once again having a Heart Walk T-shirt design contest. The final artwork chosen will be featured on the t-shirts worn by our Cook Children’s team at the Heart Walk. Please submit your heart walk t-shirt design, as follows:

• Submit the original artwork (in person, via email or inter-office to Barbara Flores–CCMC Administration. If you are submitting your artwork via email, it should be in either Adobe Illustrator or jpeg. Adobe Illustrator is preferred.

• The artwork should include no more than three colors (black is considered a color).• Deadline for submission of artwork is Monday, July 26.Online employee voting to choose the final t-shirt artwork design will be held beginning on Tuesday,

July 27 and the chosen design will be announced on Monday, August 2. This year, we’re going with a “High 5” theme…we’d like to recruit 50 team captains and 500 walkers

to raise $50,000! If you’ve not yet signed up to be a team captain or haven’t joined a team, there’s still time to join us and we need you.

Please email Barbara Flores at [email protected] with your name so that we can provide you with updates about the walk.
