OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Any shoeboxes are due in by NEXT SUNDAY (November 18th). Any questions, see Carol Quinn. Thank you for your generosity! STOCKINGS FOR SOLDIERS UPDATE Unfortunately, after this year the Mission Committee will be discontinuing this project. This is because the Post Office has changed its restrictions and policies on delivering packages to our servicemen and women. All of the materials that got sent over last year were returned by the Post Office. After some extra sorting, the American Legion was able to resend these materials out to the troops. Because of the difficulties with the new restrictions, Walker Brothers has discontinued their collection of items this year. The Mission Team has decided that items collected by OPC this year will be given to the vets who are currently at the Eagle Star House in Spencerport, so your donations are still being accepted this year and will help our local veterans feel some extra love this holiday season. Many thanks for your generosity. If you have any questions, please see Carol Quinn. PW GIFT JAR FUNDRAISER With the holiday season around the corner, we will be offering gift jars for sale. The soup mix gift jar is $5, and the dessert mix gift jar is $8. ORDERS ARE DUE THIS FRIDAY (November 16th). Give your order form and payment to Barb White or Marilyn Malloy. The gift jars will be available for pickup after the worship service on December 2nd and 9th. They make great gifts for family members and friends! Please see the PW bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall for more information. Thank you for your support! ~Presbyterian Women FOOD SHELF NEEDS LIST The Current list of needs for the Food Shelf are: Crackers, Coffee, Cocoa, Fruit Juices, Mac n Cheese, Ramen Noodles, and Soups.
