What is ICS?

• ICS is a UK government-funded development programme that brings together 18 to 25-year-olds from all backgrounds to fight poverty in overseas and UK communities. You don’t need cash, skills

or qualifications to take part in ICS – just the ambition to make a difference.

• ICS Entrepreneur will tackle poverty in some of the world’s poorest communities by supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses in developing countries.

• Volunteers do not need specific skills or experience to be selected for ICS but we do need to see a positive commitment to the programme and an enthusiastic, flexible attitude.

• All potential ICS volunteers must attend a selection day where they’ll be expected to show their suitability for the programme and ability to work with others.
