• As stated in the MPS course catalog, students in this class are required to complete a science investigation for the Mesa Public Schools Science and Engineering Fair held on February 19, 2015 at Red Mountain High School in Mesa.
• Winners at the district level may advance to the Arizona Science and Engineering Fair held in April 2015 in Phoenix.
• More information will be made available in October.

• Help students with organization
• Students take ownership of their work
• Students can develop ‘knowledge over time’ and reflect on their own learning
• When it comes time to review for a test, students have a chronological record of their work all in one place
What Can You Do?
• Check the MyMPS Parent Portal for access to your student’s grades, attendance record, teacher comments, and more!
• Check your student’s science composition notebook pages regularly (a stamp means it was done completely and on time).
