Welcome! Thank you for choosing to worship on this Resurrection Day, 2009!

What is Easter All About? Is it about candy filled baskets, colorful plastic eggs, chocolate surprises and cute little bunnies? Or is there something more we should celebrate? The resurrection is about the impossible becoming a reality. It is about death giving way to life. It is about a Savior who died and now lives. It is tragedy transformed into triumph. Jesus died the death that we all deserve and was raised to life to offer hope we could not imagine.

What is Easter all about? Easter is about a stone being rolled away, a Savior being raised and the sting of death being removed. It is about Christ doing the unthinkable to win our heart and God doing the unimaginable to give us new life. Without the resurrection, Easter is just another ordinary day. Thank you for taking a few hours today to put the superficial aside and spend time in the wonder of The Savior of an empty tomb.

• Fire-proof Your Marriage! - Sunday night, April 19, will be a special time for families to share dinner and a movie. At 5:30 p.m. we will serve a spaghetti dinner; at 6:30 p.m. we will view the movie Fireproof. The movie is FREE! The cost of the dinner will be $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children and the $20 maximum per family will apply. Please purchase your meal reservation in the Grand Foyer before or after the morning worship service
