Welcome! This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. I rejoice that we serve a God Who expects us to serve Him with joy. In fact, He demands it. That may seem strange to you, but God demands that we do all things with joy and thanksgiving. (Deuteronomy 28:47-48) With a grateful heart, I rejoice in your attendance today.

My prayer for this day is that we will experience the deliverance that comes from total surrender to Jesus. Jesus says “all authority has been given to Me (Jesus) in heaven and on earth.” We are not saved by being amazed; we are saved by amazing grace! May we put aside our pride and surrender totally to the one who loves us unconditionally!

• Called Business Meeting - We will have a called business meeting tonight, immediately following the Evening Worship Service to discuss and adopt the 2011 Budget.•New Outreach Day - Beginning, Tuesday, February 8, outreach will be on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Andy will begin a class entitled Biblical Evangelism on Wednesday, February 2, at 6:30 p.m.Chris Langley will begin a class entitled Sharing Jesus Without Fear on Sunday, February 6, at 5:30 p.m.•Church-wide Valentine’s Fellowship - On Sunday, February 13, at 5:30 p.m., we will have a banquet and special activities for everyone. Adults and students (Grades 7-12) will participate in a sit-down banquet in the Fellowship Suite. The cost will be $10 per person and tickets are on sale now. Children and preschoolers will be in their own areas for age-appropriate activities and a meal that will be provided at no charge to parents.

•New CLU Classes Beginning in February:Taking Down Goliath - This is a 7-week study just for men. It is a video presentation presented by Dr. Johnny Hunt, past president of the SBC. Dr. Hunt tackles 7 different issues that every man faces. The study will begin on February 6, at 5:30 p.m. There is a $5.00 fee for materials. Contact Dean Finch for more information.Crown Financial Class - Looking for a way to get control of your finances? Crown Financial presents a Biblical way to honor the Lord with your finances and deal with the pressures of money that every household must face. A new class will begin on Wednesday, February 16, at 6:00 p.m. The class is 10-weeks and costs $35 per couple and $25 per single. Beginning Sunday, February 6, at 5:30 p.m., Mike Chitwood will begin a four-week Bible-based study about the work of our Cooperative Program, the program that helped to make Southern Baptists the largest and strongest mission-minded, mission-sending body of any Christian organization.
