I studied International Business and was determined to enter the tourism industry after graduation. As a Personal Vacation Manager, I gained in-depth knowledge of the entire industry as opposed to working for a cruise line or hotel that only focuses on one sector. The following year, I applied for and was offered a Marketing Coordinator position creating brochures, sending promotional emails, and managing group contracts and rates with our suppliers.
