• Located along the North and South Latitude Bands.
• Deserts are usually created because they are located in a rain shadow.
• Deserts areas usually have Internal Drainage to drain Into land locked basins rather than the ocean.
Geological Features
• Varies daily, seasonable hot and cold.
• On average, the temperature is 64 degrees.
• Desert climates are created by high-pressure zones in which cold air descends.
• Deserts usually receive less than 5 cm of precipitation a month
