On 22nd November,

we went to visit

the fire station,

here in Barbastro,

15 minutes walking from our school.

FIRE STATION TRIP

We were 60 children

because in our school

there are three

2nd level classes.

We saw the firefighting truck.

We tried on

the firemen ´s helmet.

We went for a drive

in the firefighting truck.

We used the firemen ´s hoseand we made rainbows.It was a sunny day.

We learned a lot of things about the firemen:

•They extinguish the fire.

•They help to rescue people, animals, cars… in accidents.

•They help in flood or poison gas escapes.

•They train in their gym and they mend and tidy up the material.

•They are on guard, also at night.

We have to phone 112 to call the firemen.
