CRC CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
ALL EVENTS RUN UNDER BHS RULES FOR RIDING CLUBS 2019
ALL ENTRIES ACCEPTED SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1. The judge’s decision in every case is final and not open to debate.
2. Horses and ponies must not be left unattended at any time, including when
secured to the outside of horseboxes or trailers.
3. All riders must wear the current PAS015 or equivalent standard hat with
chinstrap fastened when mounted, even if not competing.
4. A body protector and medical armband are obligatory in all Hunter Trials and
Eventers Challenge competitions. A BETA Level 3 body protector displaying
EITHER a Purple 2009 Label OR Blue 2018 Label must be worn in these
competitions.
5. Competitors must clear up their rubbish, manure and leftover hay and not
leave anything on the show ground.
6. No liability will be accepted for anything which may happen to competitors,
spectators, their property, servants or horses and ponies in connection with,
or arising out of these events.
7. No entry fee will be refunded unless a medical or veterinary certificate is
produced before the relevant class or within seven days after the event.
8. Objections must be made in writing, to the show secretary within 15 minutes
of the incident, accompanied by a deposit of twenty pounds which is
refundable if the objection is sustained.
9. All ridden horses and ponies must be a minimum of 4 yrs old.
10. No horse or pony may be entered for more than 3 jumping classes in any one
day.
11. The club reserves the right to refuse admission to events at its discretion.
12. Competitors are reminded that the welfare of their horse /pony is paramount.
13. All dogs must be kept on a short lead.
14. Stallions are welcome but must be bitted and handled by a responsible adult at
all times.
15. Any horse acting in a dangerous or unruly manner will be required to leave the
show ground.
16. Any person acting in an unruly or offensive manner will be required to leave
the show ground and will forfeit any entry monies.
17. Unless in the warm up or competition areas, horses must walk only on
showground.

The first six placed horse/rider combinations in
all classes* at any Open Dressage competition will
qualify for the Championships in March 2020.
At the discretion of the secretary, in the event of
horse / rider combinations having already
qualified, places may pass down to the next
unqualified combination.
Prizes and trophies in each Championship Class.
Prize to be awarded to junior gaining the highest
% in championship classes (unless junior is a class
winner, where it will pass to the next highest)

QUALIFIER INFORMATION
Horseware Hunter Trials The exciting Horseware Hunter Trial Series features cross country events that test the horse and rider partnership around a full course of cross country and hunting fences held over varied terrain.
Qualifiers are held at venues around the country and the series culminates in the Horseware Hunter Trial National Championship Final, to be held at Eland Lodge in September 2019.
To qualify riders must be placed 1st – 3rd in their class having obtained a clear round.
The I.C.E HORSEBOXES HUNTER TRIALS are qualifying competitions for the National Championships – look for “Horseware Qualifier” for the relevant classes.

SUPERPET ACCUMULATOR
The Superpet Trophy was originally presented by Annabel Brown of
Superpet in 1992. It is one of our oldest perpetual challenge trophies.
The Superpet Jumping Points will be awarded to the horse / rider
combination gaining the most points in the Show Jumping and
Eventers Challenge series in this schedule (19st

KM Dressage Kerry has been in the industry for
over 10 years and ridden a variety
of horses, Kerry specialises in
