International artist Ilana Halperin will talk about her work developing the new displays of the museum’s Geology collections, her new ‘Geothermal Sculptures’ - artworks formed by geological processes - and her commissioning of award-winning animation artist Iain Gardner to visualise the story of Shropshire’s ‘600 million year great geological journey’.

The Now And The HereJon Thomson & Alison Craighead, Artists
International artists Jon Thomson and Ali Craighead will talk about the making of their new installation for the museum. They will explain how they use live online material such as security web cams, audio feeds, chat room text transcripts and real-time data to create intriguing gallery installations that can change our perception of the world and ourselves. Discover how they have approached their special commission for the new museum.

Call the Box Office between 11am and 7pm Monday - Saturday. Visa/Mastercard/Switch accepted Tickets can be posted second-class within 24 hours of purchase for an additional charge of 65p. A transaction fee of £1.50 will be charged on bookings, except those made in person with cash. The transaction fee is non-refundable.
Refunds Tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded except in the case of a cancelled performance.

Access Information With advance notice we can accommodate up to three wheelchairs in the OMH. Subject to availability.
Sennheiser Infra Red enhanced hearing headsets are available in the OMH to amplify sound for patrons who are hard of hearing. They can be worn with or without a hearing aid.
