    3.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS3.1 Calibration Laboratory

The vendor employed shall be an approved calibration laboratory listedon the Vendor Approval List, Form WA-5 (Electronic) and shall becapable of meeting all requirements of QP 7.4 (Purchasing Procedures).

3.2 MEASUREMENT STANDARDS AND EQUIPMENT3.2.1 The Light Meter (DSE-100X or equivalent) used as a reference

standard shall be calibrated and traceable to the National Instituteof Standards and Technology (NIST).

3.2.2 The Black Light Source utilized for device calibration shall providea minimum intensity of 2000 w/cm2 of ultraviolet light at the

shortest distance used for calibration.3.2.3 The White Light Source utilized for device calibration shall

provide a minimum intensity of 150 fc of visible light at theshortest distance used for calibration.

3.2.4 The Fixtures(s) used for sensor and/or light mounting shall becapable of providing three (3) fixed distances.

3.3 PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTSThe calibration laboratory shall have a written procedure ensuringconsistency of the calibration method employed and capable of meetingthe calibration requirements below.

    4.0 CALIBRATION REQUIREMENTS4.1 ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS

The calibration laboratory environment shall be controlled to the extentnecessary to ensure valid results. Temperature and relative humidityshall be monitored and recorded for future reference.

4.2 MEASUREMENT STANDARD ACCURACYThe reference standard shall demonstrate an accuracy within +/-2% of apreviously established baseline at all recorded ranges. Accuracy shall
