What is the reason you started playing
football?

There is no special reason why I started playing football, I'm not a
believer in god but share the view that people are born with a gift and
comes into the world with a purpose, and that over time will perfecting
such attributes. But I started organized football at age 8, my local club
in the hand of a then club sponsor at the time. I remember that I was not
old enought to be enrolled but had some way to play, and started
playing the position of striker being today Goalkeeper.
Everything depends on the number of games we have been doing, if we
have been regulary playing during the season, and if the moment we are
living is in good shape physically, mentally, not weak.
there is nothing that makes us afraid of big challenges. I personally am a
player who likes big games, big stages and big challenges. These are
games that also sees the great characters and great players.
but using generally feel that feeling in my belly, due to the importance of
the game, think positive and always remind me of the great views that
increasingly realized that I felt this sensation.

Nowadays I like to see playing with who else I identify in the field, Victor Valdes
(Barcelona) a cat, an elastic in goal and with his feet one of the best in the world.
Never failing to emphasize Neuer (B.Munich)
Buffon and Rui Patricio, my former teammate in sporting, which is gearing up to be the
best Goalkeeper in the world very soon.
And to me that it was for me the god of the goalkeepers and who I was thrilled to see more
playing Peter Schemmeichel
a leader on the pitch, the best in one-on-one
and threw his hand longer than the top of the world with his foot. Isolating the forwards
with long postings by hand.
I have several, one can not describe. The individual that won first prize at just 15 years of
best goalkeeper in the setubal district (area where I reside) The day I was contacted by
SPORTING CLUB DE PORTUGAL to celebrate the contract . The first title of national
champion at under-17 for Sporting CP
and the first time I was called to join Senior team of sporting at the time by the hand of
mister Paulo Bento (now national coach of Portugal)
and my adventures in Cyprus and experiences in Vietnam and Thailand.
I mostly feel a leader within the field and off it. Joke much with my colleagues, I
am no longer junior, but I'm also not a veteran, so I can think and understand how
each player will react to my words. Players with whom you have more
confidence, then the words will be stronger in order to mess with the person's
feelings, if a young one, with a more quiet personality, you have to be more
lenient in how alert to what did not do well and to give back over the time that we
spend.
