Man Utd suffers, but manages to defeat QPR (3-1)

The announcement of Harry

Redknapp as the club's new

coach seems to have done well

to Queens Park Rangers. The

London team left a good

image at Old Trafford and

forced Man Utd to run after

the damage caused by QPR.

The shock was not small, but

eventually reign the law of the

strongest.

QPR began to realize that they

could enjoy some relaxation of

the opponent and took the lead

on 52 minutes after a shot of the

striker J. Mackie.

Sounded the alarm, Ferguson

moved and outcomes were

immediate. Evans equaled at

64th minute , Darren Fletcher

turned immediately afterwards

(68') and Chicharito (again in

the role of a luxury substitute )

completed the scoring the 72nd

minute.

Despite the shock (last

week's defeat at home to

Norwich City, 1-0, was still

very fresh in the memory)

Manchester United won and

took the lead with 30 points,

putting pressure on Man

City, who moves to

Stamford Bridge tomorrow

to face Chelsea, now

managed by Rafael Benitez.

Regarding the other results ,

Everton let theirselfs draw at

home with Norwich City and

missed the chance to win

over the final whistle (1-1).

Stoke City beat Fulham by

the narrowest of margins (1-

0), while Wigan Athletic had

a super Jordi Gomes (hat-

trick) to get the better over

Reading (3-2).
