Subject:- Approval of the agenda item placed before the DASA CoreCommittee (2O2O-2021) to decide on the change in academicetigibility criteria for UG admissions under DASA Scheme.

I am directed to refer to your communication No.NlTK/DASA/Agenda-Circutation l2O2O dated 5th October,2020 on the subject mentioned above andto state that the competent authority in the Ministry of Education has approvedthe proposal of the DASA Core Committee (2020-2071) vis-a-vis therecommendation to remove the condition of 60% aggregate marks or 6.50 CGPAin the quatifying examination from the academic etigibitity criteria under theDASA Scheme, in [ine with the simitar decision taken this year for admissions toNlTs & other CFTIs through JEE (Main). The retaxation in the quatifying criteriashatt be for the academic year 2020 - 2021 onty.

2. This issues with the approval of the competent authority in the Ministry.
