1. Pre-requisites for Setting up of e-Payments through COMPACT 1.1 Backup COMPACT database from the existing COMPACT Server

The COMPACT backup utility is available in the Utilities module of the COMPACT interface as shown above. Please note that the COMPACT Database backup process should be run only from the Server. This form enables the user to take the Backup of the COMPACT Database at the

desired location in the hard disk. On invoking the utility the user is provided with a browse interface to select the

desired location where the COMPACT backup file will be prepared. The user has to specify the folder for backup by selecting the Drive and directory on the hard drive of the COMPACT server.

The system will generate the backup of database on press of ‘Backup’ button. The name format of the file is ‘PAO’ followed by Date and Time e.g. CMP02328302052011112757.zip for the backup taken on 02-05-2011 at 11:27:57.

1.2 Change Server Name of Primary and Mirror Servers 1.2.1 Label Primary and Secondary (Mirror) Servers Label the Physical Server Boxes as PCOMP<PPPPPP> as the Primary Server and MCOMP<PPPPPP> as the Secondary (Mirror) Servers as shown in the diagram above. Ensure that both the servers are connected to the same Local Area Network of the PAO.
