The Missing Link“When it comes to education and skills,Europe needs nothing less than a revolution. While the shortcomings of educationalsystems have been well documented by theOECD’s Program for International StudentAssessment (PISA), the area of skillsremains virgin territory for many policymakers across Europe.”
OECD scrutinises state-owned groups“The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development haslaunched an initiative to scrutinise the dominant role of state-ownedcompanies abroad with the aim of setting out guidance on bestpractice and reform….The move follows OECD work on theemerging influence on global markets of private equity, hedge fundsand sovereign wealth funds.”
