In this space, I mostly write about my 66 Toyota Land Cruiser and all the work I’ve done to it.

Honestly, I’ve been really busy with TAG, TAG Design and help-ing my wife with her store, Kids and Maternity Consignments.

If you’ve been living in a cave, and I know some of you might, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I’ve seen it on the NFL Games with all the players wearing pink, the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure Event and have seen thousands of women and men wear pink ribbons on their shirts to support awareness of this devastating disease.

Here’s a little background about Breast Cancer:

In the United States, breast cancer is the most common non-skin cancer and the sec-ond leading cause of cancer-related death in women. Each year, a small number of men are also diagnosed with or die from breast cancer. Although the breast cancer diagnosis rate has increased since the early 1990s, the overall breast

cancer death rate has dropped steadily.

The incidence of breast cancer is highest in whites, but Afri-can Americans have higher mortality rates than any other racial or ethnic group in the United States. The gap in mortality between African Americans and whites is wider now than it was in the early 1990s.

It is estimated that approxi-mately $8.1 billion is spent in the United States each year on treatment of breast cancer.

Now I’m not going to say I’m a knowledgeable person about Breast Cancer, but I believe the cause is very worthwhile. Many of our grandmothers, mothers, sisters and daughters die of this terrible disease. I ask you to support one of the many non-profit programs that work to find a cure for Breast Cancer.
