Members of the Saint Agnes Prayer Shawl Ministry craft shawls for those seriously ill, grieving, homebound, or otherwise in need of comfort. Shawls are available at the Recto-ry, in a basket on the landing in the chapel, or from a priest or ministry member. Smaller rectangle ‘pocket shawls’ are made to fit com-fortably in a pocket and are especially suita-ble for our members of the armed forces. The pocket shawls are available in a basket in the church vestibule during weekend masses. Knitters and crocheters of all abilities are wel-come to join us. Contact Anne Quigley at [email protected] or 610-431-3355.

THE FLAME OF LOVE OF THE IM-MACULATE HEART OF MARY prayer group meets on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Agnes Chapel. In speaking to Elizabeth Kindel-mann, Our Lord Je-sus instructed her, “Be My servant! Be always joyful! Every day that you serve Me must be a feast. Do not let anyone or any-thing that disturbs your cheerful spirit come near your soul. Take good care of your nup-tial garment and let it radiate happi-ness. Wherever you go, let it be felt that you partake every day in the heavenly ban-quet. Desire that everyone have the same yearning. Let the coming of My Kingdom be the only object of prime importance in your life. Be valiant! Testify to Me before men. How numerous are those whose lack of courage prevents them from getting closer to Me. Do nothing without Me. Have no thought without introducing Me into it. Am I not the One who gave you understand-ing? Sadly, there is hardly anyone grateful to Me for that. You also have not thanked Me yet. Without understanding, you would be no different from other creatures. Whatever the human understanding creates proceeds entirely from My own understanding. Be grateful for this gift on behalf of those who are not.” Our Blessed Lord is asking us to keep and maintain a “Cheerful Spirit”. Visit www.flameoflove.us
