Where: Room 108 Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Cost: Free

If we consider that God is the Divine Bridegroom and the Church is his Bride, then the prophets can be seen

as “spiritual marriage counselors.” They afflict the comfort-able and comfort the afflicted, calling us to return to our cov-

enant relationship with God. They urge us to repentance, warn us of the dangers of sin, and announce the bless-ings of faithfulness. Their prophetic words speak to us even today, as they draw us closer to our heavenly Bridegroom

News From The Streets…

Be Someone’s Answer To Prayer! By Mary Martha Primerano The more Ministry we do, the more I realize how loving our God is. Many people living on the streets are believ-ers! They are very open to prayer. They are just broken, hurt, sick, physically and emotionally. Didn’t Jesus himself say that - “It’s not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners.” – Mark 2:17. So if they are believers, then that makes them my brother or sister. Let’s go a little further and say that this indeed is someone’s mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, or uncle. Could it be that someone is praying for them? Our prayer before going out has always been “Father, send us to the ones who need a touch from you today.” Why? Because we have decided to become someone’s answered pray-er. Vincent (not his real name) shared his heart for the first time with us. Normally cheerful and full of joy, but on this day he said he hasn’t been himself lately. He’s not sleeping well and shared how he feels like it’s not his place to be on the streets asking for money. Another group had come by hand-ing out items, and with tears in his eyes he explained how he felt he was being looked down upon. I’m sure that was not their intention, but his rejection was so real that he began crying out loud all the while apologizing to us. Our group consoled him by gathering around and giving him a group hug. We said welcome to the family. We reminded him that Jesus understood exactly where he is at because he faced the greatest rejection of all time that would eventually put him on the cross. Of course we all know that you can’t keep a good man down and Jesus was resurrected on the 3rd. day. Yay! Sometimes all we need is a good cry and a hug to get us through the day. Vincent was so thankful for the time we spent with him. If interested in volun-

teering please contact:

Amen.
