The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards - A nationwide program that honors young people in grades 5-12 whovolunteer in their communities. Resource Library
The resources from the old Catholic Charities USA website have been moved over to a third party website - Scribd.Browse forms, policies and training materials. This morning, attendees from the VMN will be browsing the websiteidentifying deficits in the library. A call for resources will be announced at the end of the month.
Networking
Coffee Break - The VMN Steering Committee has revamped the Coffee Break sessions. Originally developed toaugment the Webinars, the Coffee Breaks will now be a focus of a certain topic. Members from the VMN steeringcommittee will share experiences with certain topics and callers can ask questions and provide answers for others onthe call. Registerfor the Innovative Recruitment Techniques - Friday, November 8th at 11am ET. Bring your ideas toshare and be ready for great tips in return!
LinkedIn group - As of today we have 19 folks who have joined the group! Log-in to your LinkedIn account, click thislink and click join in the upper right corner. We will begin creating sub-groups in November once everyone has

Demographic breakdown - the Agency Volunteer Profile survey. This survey will be used to identify sub-groups ofmembers that share similar roles and responsibilities. Survey respondents will identify how they want to benetworked. Complete the survey by the end of October and be eligible for a $50 gift card. 17 folks have completed thesurvey.
