Lets get fired up tonight, Glasgow! Tailgate Party is at 6:00 followed by the Scotties wiping out the Wolves with a 7:00 kick-off. Glasgow is looking for its first win of the season while Wolf Point comes in with a 2-3 overall record, their victories being over Poplar and Brockton, with losses to Forsyth, Baker and Colstrip. The Spartans and Colts remain undefeated and put the boots to both the Scotties and Wolves in similar fashion, so despite the dampening rain in the forecast, we think were in for a barn burner tonight.

    Good Luck Scotties!

Who said it, Bonnie or Clyde? Clyde Champion Barrow and his companion, Bonnie Parker, were shot to death by officers after one of the most colorful and spectacular manhunts the Nation had seen up to that time. Before dawn on May 23, 1934, a posse composed of police officers from Louisiana and Texas, including Texas Ranger Frank Hamer, concealed themselves in bushes along the highway near Sailes, Louisiana. In the early daylight, Bonnie and Clyde appeared in an automobile and when they attempted to drive away, the officers opened fire. Bonnie and Clyde were killed instantly.

The crusty Navy Sergeant noticed a new face and barked at him, Get over here! Whats your name, sailor? John, the new seaman replied. Look, I dont know what kind of bleeding-heart pansy crap theyre teaching sailors in boot camp these days, but I dont call anyone by his first name, the chief scowled. It breeds familiarity, and that leads to a breakdown in authority. I refer to my sailors by their last names only; Smith, Jones, Baker, Jackson, whatever. And you are to refer to me as Sergeant. Do I make myself clear? Aye, Aye, Sergeant! Now that weve got that straight, whats your last name? The seaman sighed. Darling, Sergeant. My name is John Darling. Okay, John, heres what I want you to do ....
