• Oceans are located all over the world.• The Ocean covers 3/4 of the Earth’s surface• Have 1,100 times the heat capacity of the

atmosphere• Oceans are very different, by the equator it

is warm while it is cold by the north and South Pole.

Animals

• In the Twilight part of the ocean there are animals such as, sperm whales, sea cucumbers, lobsters, and crabs.

• In the Intertidal part of the ocean there are animals such as shrimp, snails, sea stars, clams, and krill.

• In the Coral Reef there are purple sea urchins, sea turtles, plankton, and squid.
