Please come and join in Everybody is welcome! There is a daily General Assembly at 7pm in the marque. The current system is unsustainable. It is undemocratic and unjust. We need alternatives; this is where we work towards them. Everyone is welcome. We all stand together with the other 2589 occupations worldwide. We refuse to pay for the banks crisis. We do not accept the cuts as either necessary or inevitable. We demand an end to global tax injustice and our democracy representing corporations before people. We want regulators to be genuinely independent of the industries they regulate. We support the strike on the 30th November and actions to defend our health services, welfare, education and employment, and to stop wars and arms dealing. We want structural changes towards authentic global equality. The world’s resource must go towards caring for people and the planet, not the military, corporate profits or the rich. We stand in solidarity with the globally oppressed. This is what democracy looks like! Join in & spread the word Every day it just keeps getting bigger! We have had such a large amount of warm hearted support throughout the community. Donations keep coming in and there is a wish list and donations tub at the Information Desk should you wish to help the campaign fund. There are plenty ways to help. If you know what the global pressure camps are about, help with meeting and greeting members of the public wanting to know what it’s all about and how they can help? Could you print off some leaflets for us? We have a Cooking Rota of Kitchen Workers? Fancy making a few Cuppas for Volunteer Workers and Visitors? Help with camp Tranquility (SECURITY)? Doing washing up? Help with the Recycling? One of the regular Litter Picks? Should you wish to put something into the debate at the general assembly every night at 7pm ask for the Blue Agenda Book at the Information Desk and write your name and proposal. We thank all the local businesses and charities who have helped: SWAT Marketing, The Wood Recycling Project, Blind Tiger Club, Bills, Brighton Unemployed Centre and the Resource Centre.
