she was preceded in death by her parents, Louie & addis Lile Young, two broth-ers, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted 2:00 p.m. sunday, March 25, 2012 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Whickerville Cemetery.

riddle, 50, Glasgow died Fri-day, March 23, 2012 after a sudden illness. she was born in Glasgow, the daughter of rebecca elmore Chase of Glasgow and robert Goad of Louisville. Mrs. riddle was the owner and operator of Pio-neer Health Food in Glasgow and was a member of Coral Hill Baptist Church for 30 years where she was an ac-tive member of the choir and drama ministry.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband rickie riddle; two daughters amber Moore (Matt) of Louisville and Charity Hamm of Newbern, TN; one son roger riddle of Glasgow; two grandchil-dren Jordan simmons and reagan Hamm; one brother stephen Goad (sue ellen) of Colorado springs, Co; three nephews Jared, Lucas and Noah Goad and a niece amiah Goad and an aunt and uncle Billie sue and James Gearalds of Glasgow.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the a. F. Crow & son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy valley Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Benita riddle Memorial Fund, c/o south Central Bank in Glasgow.
RONNiE LEE CARy GLasGoW - ronnie Lee
Cary, 58, Glasgow, died after a sudden illness Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Glasgow. He was born in Glasgow, a son of the late Marshall and Doris Milam Cary. He was a member of si-loam Baptist Church and was retired from the U.s. army, 623rd Field artillery, KY Natl. Guard unit in Tompkinsville, serving his country in Desert Storm.
He is survived by his five children, Joey Hurt, Glasgow, Dr. Amber Hurt, Bowling Green, Annie (scott) Thompson, Horse Cave, aimee (andy) Grin-stead, Glasgow and Justin Cary, Glasgow; two grand-children, Kellen Thompson, Horse Cave and Trenton Hurt, edmonton; three sisters, emogene stephens,
Becky Foster and his twin sister Donnie (Jerry) Wyatt all of Glasgow; three brothers, James Cary, Glasgow, Hershall (ann) Cary, Frankfort and Mike Cary, Glasgow. He is also survived by a special cousin, sha-ron Kay Mutter and several nieces, nephews and cous-ins.
He was preceded in death by two nieces, Marla ste-phens and Melinda Carver stephens and two brothers-in-law, Wallace stephens and J.B. Foster.
Funeral services were held 3:00 pm Friday, March 23, 2012 at the a. F. Crow & son Funeral Home with burial in the summer shade Cemetery.
MRS. BiRdiE AdwELL CAVE CITY - Mrs. Birdie Adwell, 91, Cave City,
passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Hart County Health Care, Horse Cave. The Hart County native was the widow of oscar “Pete” adwell. Funeral services were held at 1 PM, sunday, March 25th at Northtown Baptist Church. Otis Sturgeon officiated. LAwRENCE PiTCOCk EMBERTON TOMPKINSVILLE - Law-
rence Pitcock Emberton, 89, died March 22, 2012. Born September 10, 1922 in Tomp-kinsville, Ky. he was the son of Milton Garfield “Gee” Ember-ton and Donna Ester Pitcock. L.P. graduated from Tomp-kinsville High school, attend-ed Western KY. University, University of Louisville Phar-macy school and Berea Col-lege before serving the U.s. Navy and then graduating from the Medical College of south Carolina where he was a member of Phi Rho Sigma medical fraternity. In-ternship and residency followed at Fordham University Hospital in Bronx, NY.
In 1950, he married Anita Schlickenrieder and they moved to edmonton, Ky. to begin his medical practice. retiring in 2008, his 58 years of practice included the medical services of obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics, or-thopedics, minor surgery, pathology and radiology to the citizens of Metcalfe County. He also served on the U.s. selective service Board, as the chairman of the Metcalfe Co. Board of Health and member and chair-man of the Edmonton City Council. He was a Deacon, Sunday school teacher, choir and quartet member of the Edmonton Baptist Church. In 2007 he received the Pride in the Profession award from the american Medical association, the honor bestowed in Washing-ton, D.C.
Business owner, farmer and public servant, L.P. lived a life of service and dedication to his family, his profession, his church and his community. He loved classical music, woodworking, studying theology and collecting pearl-handled whittler knives.
L.P. is preceded in death by his parents Gee and Donna, his wife Anita and his brothers and sisters, John, Clive, amy Gill, Glidden, Kenneth, Pearline sims, ralph, rodger and Betty, granddaughters, Tatum Lindsey and Whitney emberton and son-in-law Ken-neth Henry. He is survived by his children and their families, Karen emberton and Hannah Clay Henry of Louisville, Julie, Bill, Kelsi and ember Moran of Lexington, Kevin, Donna, Chris, great grandson Ka-din emberton of edmonton, Maria and Whitney es-tes, Dana Emberton-Tinius, Jim, Chapel, Thomas and Truman Tinius of Bowling Green, robin, Billy, Piper,
Haley and Tessa Lindsey of Glasgow and alice, shel-ton and Paris Feazell of Nashville, Tn.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Edmonton Baptist Church, 208 Dun-ham St., Edmonton, Ky. 42129 or the American Heart association.
The family would like to thank the community for its overwhelming outpouring of love and support.

Remember the sacrificial death of Jesus Led by pastors from the Glasgow area
a single vehicle wreck sunday night on Coral Hill-Halfway road sent two people to the hospi-tal.
The wreck occurred shortly after 11:00 p.m. when a 1995 Oldsmobile traveling northbound, driven by Christina Pica, 28, of Greensburg, ran off the road and struck a tree and fence line after trying to avoid hitting a deer.
Pica, as well as one of her passengers, 3-year-old Jasmine Davis, also of Greensburg, were trans-ported by Barren-Met-
calfe emergency Medical services to T.J. samson Community Hospital, where they were treated and released.

Deputy Chris Wyatt investigated and was as-sisted by Deputy Aaron Bennett and Constable Buddy Houchens.
Members of the Hise-ville Volunteer Fire De-partment were first re-sponders at the scene.
