He sent Jesus Christ to die for you, so that you may be saved and have

life... what a grace! «God made him who had not sin to be sin for us, so

that in him we might become the righteousness of God » (2 Corinthians

5:21), do you believe?

If you believe, open your heart and receive Him in your life as your

personal Lord and Saviour. Then, make this prayer with all your heart: «Lord Jesus Christ, I need you. I believe that you died on the cross and

rose again to save me and give me eternal life that is why, I confess with

my mouth and believe in my heart that you are my Lord and Saviour.

Forgive my sins and purify me with your precious blood. I renounce to sin

in all its forms and I engage myself to honour You in all my ways. Please

Lord write my name in the book of life. Make me the person you want me

to be. Thank you for saving me. Amen! ».

If you did this prayer with faith, your sins have been wiped away and you

are starting a new life in Christ Jesus: « therefore, if anyone is in Christ,

he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! » (2

Corinthians 5:17). Glory be to God, you are now a CHILD OF GOD

If you are not yet a member of any local denomination, ask the Lord Jesus

to guide you to any of them so that you can exercise your faith.

INTRODUCTION

Grace be given to God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who died and

rose again so that we may have eternal life.

Mercredi en Montagne is a divine programme, inspired by God, directed by

God... to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever (Philippians 4:20),

for anyone who wants to grow in his/her relationship with the Lord God

Almighty.

Through this Christian booklet, the Lord uses his children ‘Famille de Gloire’

to transmit every Wednesday, in the spirit of fasting and praying the messages

with the aim to build Christian life based on the word of God. Daily scriptures

of meditation related to the weekly topics can be found in this booklet for

better understanding of the weekly message. Prayer topics follow the message

in other to receive from the Lord the capacity to put them into practice.

Mercredi en Montagne allows the gospel to go all over the world

according to the word of God: «Go into all the world and preach the good

news to all creation» (Mark 16:15). It is also an avenue for the salvation of

multitude.

DECLARATION OF FAITH

« In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the

word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things

were made; without him nothing was made that has been made» (John

1:1-3). Become a child of God; declare the word of God who has a power of

creation and to put you in the perfect spiritual and physical will of God so that you

may live a victorious Christian life.

We propose to you this model of declaration of faith inspired by the Holy Spirit. You

can declare it loudly, alone or in group:

I confess that I am a child of God, born of God.

I leave according to the heavenly kingdom principles.

I submit my spirit and though under the authority of God.

I bring my though captive to obey Christ.

I separate myself from the worldly pleasures that lead to death.

I tie myself to the things of the heavenly kingdom that produce life.

I declare that I am attached and connected to Christ 24/24h.

I disconnect myself from any relation that does not glorify God.

I disconnect myself from any place that does not glorify God.

I live and do everything for the Glory of God.

I declare that I love the Lord and I manifest it every day.

I declare that I love my neighbour as myself and I manifest it in concrete actions.

I am a spirit because born of God.

I am intangible, unfailing and unshakeable.

I am invisible in the world of darkness.

I and my family are hidden under Jesus Christ in God.

I am more than a conqueror in Jesus Christ, failure is not my portion.

'I HAVE FOUND DAVID'

e We are surprise to realize that God is looking for a man with whom He will accomplish certain missions where as many men and women fear Him. Yes; God is looking for men to realise projects on earth, He needs faithful men, ready to sacrifice

everything and to give themselves by love to Him, accepting to accomplish His wills. Engaged Carriers of vision determined to go till the end: « I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so that I would not have to

destroy it, but I found none » (Ezekiel 22:30). But this species are becoming rare, men have become more egoistic, they mostly think of themselves rather than God who created and send them on earth for a very short journey: « For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord » (Romans

14:7-8). Many Christians have become so insensitive to the word of God because of the worries of the world: « But mark this: there will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God having a form of godliness but denying its

power. Have nothing to do with them » (2Timothee 3:1-5a). The love of the world, money and all kinds of fun is a trap, it is better to run away from them, and such men attract the anger of God.

Glory be given to God for a rare class of men who are truly willing to do the will of God regardless of the difficulties they may encounter every day,

who knows how to honour the Lord in their actions and who truly love Him. It is the case of David and it is why God Said: « I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart: he will do everything I want him to do » (Acts 13:22b). He does not say He found a perfect man, who does not sin, but He found a man after His own heart, a man who knows how to honour Him and defend His interests without fear to die: « All those who gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give all of you into our hands » ( 1 Samuel 17:47),

a man who love God and acknowledges His power, who knows that nothing nor anybody can oppose God, a true worshiper, author of many psalms of worship, a man of faith! David also knew how to recognise his

errors and repent sincerely; he knew to respect king Saul, the anointed of God. David was a wise man, humble, full of daring.

We too, let us make ourselves available to work for the Lord, He has put in each one of us a particular character and the capacity to fulfil His will, the Holy Spirit plays this role with power. He has found a man DAVID to bring to zero the power of the philistines and bring peace to the people of Israel. And through his descendants came the saviour of the world Jesus Christ. He found Esther, a young Jewish girl, orphan who did not look at herself but undergo the risk of losing her title of queen and to perish for the benefit of the Israelite people, she chooses to honour God « Then Ester sent this reply to Mordecai: Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish » (Ester 4:15-16).

How far the sacrifice? Which degree of deprivation can we do or can we accept to do for the love of God? Are we ready to lost, to renounce or to give up what we have as precious if it is necessary in other to accomplish the projects of God? Let us examine these questions and dispose ourselves to do the sacrifice if thoroughly we want to be in the number of those God will find in other to accomplish His Plans: « “I tell you the truth,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions) and in the age to come eternal life » (Mark 10:29-30)

The Lord have to say about me: I found ... (Your name). So, I dispose myself and accept the sacrifice of my heart to accomplish His Will.

Prayer: Father, I depose myself to be the person You are looking for in

other to accomplish Your will, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

'GOD KNOWS YOU'

od the creator of heaven and earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ knows us perfectly. May be we know it already, but He is still reminding it to

us today, He knows us! « Before I formed you in the womb I knew you »

(Jeremiah 1:5a). Yes, even before we open our mouths to speak, He knows already what we are going to say, He knows our thoughts: « And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit» (Romans 8:27a). God knows are weaknesses, our expectations, our shortcomings, our needs, our deepest desires, our talents, our environment, at each moment He sees us, localizes us and knows what we are about to do before it execution: « Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account » (Hebrews 4:13). We have nothing to hide; He knows everything « Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me, "even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb» (Psalms 139: 7-13).

God knows us; He knows that He has put in each one of us the Holy Spirit, the counsellor, the teacher to transform our weaknesses into strength, our incapacities into capacities. He knows which potentials He has put in us for us to fulfil His plans. « Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God » (2

Corinthians 3:5). We are the works of God's hands, let us not under estimate ourselves, but let us have confidence In the Holy Spirit working in us. God created each one of us with a particular character that will be useful for the mission. Let us remember Saul of Tarsus who became Paul. He was a man with a strong determination, he had a harsh character, persistent, and steady which were useful to persecute Christians: «Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem »

(Acts 9: 1-2). This man so harsh became a powerful instrument in the hands of the Lord to win souls he fought before: « “Lord,” Ananias

answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.” But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”» (Acts 9: 13-16).

Our character, our environment, our properties are not coincidence. God knows what He did as organization in our lives for us to serve Him. He knows everything about us; He knows our filiations and knows how to use all of them. Let us look attentively the case of Esther. She loses her parents and the cousin who works at the royal palace welcome her in his house. Later, the need for a woman arises in the palace and it is Esther with her simple, calm and humble character who is designated as queen. She could have said at the death of her parents that she was an orphan! Now she has become a rich queen in a great country « And as they were drinking wine on that second day, the king again asked, "Queen Esther, what is your petition? It will be given you. What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom, it will be granted » (Esther 7:2).

Let us no more look at our live with bitterness nor regrets because of difficult times we went through. Let us not be desperate if our children, our brothers, our spouses have difficult characters, at any time, God who knows everything can use them gloriously because: « And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been

called according to his purpose » (Romans 8:28). On the contrary, let us look with admiration our life, whatever it is; so far as God is alive, He always worked wonders with His children. What has God put in you in particular? He found David because he valued his potential, do likewise for God knows you perfectly.

Prayer: Lord, I now know and I am convincing that you know me. I recognize that you are the one who created me with a character and a useful environment for your work. I wish to be your next great deal, In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

'GOD WANTS TO BUILD A TRUE RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU'

Ormerly, those who were saving the Lord were called priests, and the most common name was 'servants'. Jesus Christ came then simplifies the relationship by calling those who are at His service 'friends': «you

are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have

made known to you » (John 15:14-15). What a grace! We have become the friends of our God. Through friendship, we see complicity, unity, simplicity, love: « A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for

adversity » (Proverbs 17:17). Any lasting relationship must be base firstly on a sincere friendship. A happy marriage is based on true friendship of both spouses. A friend those not hide anything, expresses himself without having fear of reproach. Children, who make friends with their parents, their confidents and vice versa, succeed easily in their projects and altogether, they build a solid and unit family.

It is this type of relation that Jesus Christ is offering to us, true relationship, without taboo with each of us. Let us not be afraid of Him but let us develop the fear of His name which inspires respect: HE WANTS TO REASSURE US AND BUILD A TRUE RELATIONSHIP, WITHOUTH TABOO

WITH US. He simply expect us to talk to Him every day of our life just like talking to an attentive Father who is capable to give us advices to move forward, that we listen attentively and obey His instructions. He expect us to do the schedule of our day with Him in the morning through a morning

devotional time to worship, mediate His word and receive His accurate and useful instructions to move forward. And because He is everyday with us, He wishes that during the day we do not work as lonely persons but that we should be conscient of His permanent presence in other to have a good collaboration with Him in all we undertake, He will then find Himself useful for our daily life. At night before sleeping, He wants to take a prayer time with us in other to do the point of the day. He assures us that He watches over us during the night. He wants us to sacrifice a bit of our sleeping time to intercede on behalf of others. This is what the God is waiting from us.

David had a real relationship with God, when we go through the Psalms He wrote, we understand immediately the situation he was going through. He knew to cry out to God in distress: « How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods?

» (Psalms 4:2). Certain words look like a dialogue with a friend: « Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and

guide me. » (Psalms 31:3). He gave an account of the situations he went through to God; we can see here a child who presents each time to his father an exact report and with all the details of his day, wow! « I am forgotten as though I were dead; I have become like broken pottery. For I hear the slander of many, terror on every side; they conspire against me and plot to take my life. But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.”

» (Psalms 31:12-14). Through the Psalms of David, we see a man who is true with God, who explain clearly and without outline what he is living and think, anyway God knows us and there is no need to philosophize with Him.

Our way of praying shows clearly the state of our relationship with God, let us be true, let us use simple words in prayer: «And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you

need before you ask him » (Matthew 6:7-8). Do not try to impress those who are listening to us. Prayer times are moments of fellowshipping with God by the Holy Spirit, times of serious talk with God, let us pay attention to what He says because He also answers us during prayer.

Be true with God and always walk without cease in the truth, He is with you every day, be careful! Don’t grief the Holy Spirit because of falsehood. God wants to build a relationship with you.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I engage myself to build a true

relationship with you. Teach me to live as you want, Amen!

'MARK YOUR GENERATION'

avid was very young and already well known. His reputation was spreading through acts of bravura that he did. He dare challenge the giant Goliath and this victory made him famous for the Glory of God: « When the men were returning home after David had killed the Philistine, the women came out from all the towns of Israel to

meet King Saul with singing and dancing, with joyful songs and with tambourines and lutes. As they danced, they sang: “Saul has slain his

thousands and David his tens of thousands” » (1 Samuel 18:6-7). David marked his generation with the mark of God! He made the word of God famous; he is known by thousands of people even he died long ago.

Many people are inspired by David's Psalms to worship the Lord and have communion whit Him, rely on his courage to overcome difficult trials,

inspired by his words of repentance found in Psalms 51 to humiliate themselves before God when they sin. His failures and weaknesses teaches us, in fact all the aspects of his life edifies us. David have a good reputation« A good name is better than fine perfume » (Ecclesiastes

7:1a). A good reputation is build in the Lord and for His glory.

The Lord called us for us to mark our generation, He chooses us in the midst of thousands of people not because we deserve it but because of His sovereignty and His choice is not in vain. God is not looking at our appearance (high, age, weight, etc) but He works with our heart. Let us not have complex, God knows what He has put in us to glorify Him but we must love Him with all our heart, all our soul and all our strength according to what is written « Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with

all your soul and with all your strength » (Deuteronomy 6:5). The love of God is the base for a good reputation in the Lord and it is indispensable for

all good work which contributes for His glory.

To mark our generation, we must also accept to die in our self and there is no dyeing for our self without trials. Yes, to elevate and use us easily, we must separate ourselves from all pride and to all spirit of self esteem. God is God, His thoughts are not our thoughts, His ways are impenetrable, He does as He wants, and He makes us undergo trials to build us: « O Lord Almighty, you who examine the righteous and probe the heart and mind

» (Jeremiah 20:12a). The Lord tested David, He anointed him king but it took many years for Him to reign as king, he spent many years running away from King Saul who became his father in law who was full of jealousy

and hatred against him and wanted absolutely to kill him. David accepted to wait, he rejected hangar and revenge, he had many occasions to kill Saul but he did not do it, in the contrary, because he was a king anointed by God, he continue to respect him allowing the plan of God to be accomplished perfectly. Let us accept to die in ourselves for us to be shaped by God in order to produced fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, perseverance, kindness, etc.

God is waiting from us strong actions that will give Him glory. Our lives must teach without words those who observed us. We must take radical decisions to follow Jesus Christ, it will speak for our salvation more them our word of evangelization and to that, they will acknowledge that we truly

born again. Let us chose to glorify the Lord in all our doing and our primary motivation must be the interest of God in all the actions that we want to do. As a Fashion designer, farmer, builder, engineer, teacher, carpenter, housekeeper, driver, director, student or schoolboy, pastor, businessman, headdresses, keeper, evangelist, etc. Mark you generation! By seeing you working, by listening to your words, by seeing you react in the trials, they must say for your sake: 'certainly, this person is a child of God!'

We cannot mark our generation for the glory of God while living in lies, duplicity and slander. In this case, we are going to leave the mark of the devil and we are going to give him praise. Let us choose to leave the mark of Christ!

God has found David, God wants you to mark your generation with the mark of Jesus Christ, He will also be glad to find you.

Prayer: Lord, blessed are you for the capacity you are giving me to mark my generation with the mark of Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ I

engage myself to leave an impact of the word of God in all the areas of my life. Amen!

GOOD TO KNOW

EXHORTATION: LET US BE WATCHFUL

Beloved in Jesus Christ, the word of God shows us in Ephesians 6:10-18 how to fight against the tricks of the devil. This was not in vain because the Lord knew that satan will do everything to see us in hell and one of his method is distraction. « Daniel 8:25» speaks of his ability to misleading us bit by bit from God, by new technologies (techniques) of communication.

1- Social networks: Facebook, WhatsApp, Viber, Imo, Twitter, Skype…

Most of the children of God today allow themselves to be distracted by that in a slight manner. We want to feel spiritual by writing a precious thought or a bible verse, or perhaps a topic that we believe it can edify and often in late hours. But true is that we are more attracted by jokes than the

message of edification. Most of the time we respond to message or comment and finally, hours of meditation decrease or even disappear. Intersection becomes very superficial and even skeleton. Some Christian brothers or sisters post show off pictures and on what occur in their life day after day. Nevertheless, we don’t visit each other, we don’t assist each other, we don’t call each other, we don’t evangelize; and our relationship with God is fake; full in appearance, but empty in deep.

2- Network marketing: source of lust, cupidity, hypocrisy and lies

This is also one of the great trickery of the devil; it makes a man to believe that he can save lives while making a great amount of money. That you just need to register, and receive a code and bring others people to register behind you and in what the person is making, you have a percentage: WHY? (2 Peter 2:3) it uses flattery words and brings even children of God not to put their trust in God, but in one miracle product

which is not cheaper. People find themselves lying, in extol the product in the extent that it produces life, and here we find ourselves surrounded by all these drogues and still eventually die. Beloved, to who do you get connected to? Which is this new form of evangelization which is money and not Jesus Christ that is sought? (1 Thessalonians 4:6). Let us be watchful (Proverbs 1:19).

Beloved, distraction leads to disconnection and more to spiritual death. So be careful ! (1 Corinthians 7: 35).
