Cremation Specialist of Pennsylvania, Inc., is a PA licensed funeral facility offering in-person or an online arrangement process that provides cremation services and merchandise only. Our focus is exclusively low cost basic cremation services. We do not offer burial services of non-cremated remains. If you would like to arrange for embalming or funeral related goods/services beyond what is offered on this General Price List, we can refer you to a full service funeral home.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Washington, D.C., requires that all funeral homes throughout the United States provide a General Price List to anyone who inquires about funeral arrangements. In compliance with the Federal Law, we provide the General Price List to you.

PAYMENT POLICY Payment in full is required before the cremation will be preformed. You save because we eliminated unnecessary expenses, which include extending credit and incurring bad debt. This can be accomplished on our website at CremationOfPA.com. We accept Debit Card, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express as methods of payment online. In addition, in person we will accept Cash or Certified Check. We do not handle insurance claims.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

This list does not include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you, such as cemetery or crematory services, flowers and newspaper notices. The price for these items will be shown on your bill, or the statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected. We charge you for our services in buying these items, except where prohibited by law.

Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff and Overhead .......................................................................................$1,195Our services include but is not limited to, availability of staff 24-hours a day, staff and facility to respond to initial request for services, consultation with responsible party to determine services desired, coordinating service plans with cemetery, crematory and/or other parties involved in final disposition of the deceased, filing of local death certificate, sheltering of remains, filing, preparing and obtaining local permits with the appropriate department. Also included in this charge are overhead expense related to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses.This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (Alternative container with or without an outside covering). The containers we use are cardboard with a lid with or without a lid.
