Numeracy for Nursing 3 day course, OCN accredited level 2
The course will cover…
Non calculator methods to apply division, multiplication, addition & subtraction
Understand the importance of place value, and decimals
Calculate fractions and percentages of a quantity
Use equivalent fractions and relate to decimals and percentages.
Work out conversions between fractions, decimals and percentages
Choose figures or decimal places that are appropriate to a particular purpose

Connecting Learners in South & Mid Wales is
a lifelong learning project funded by the
Welsh Government via the Wales Union
Learning Fund (WULF).
It is a partnership between UNISON and
Community Lives Consortium (a domiciliary
care provider).
The aim of the project is to support and
complement work based learning
opportunities for staff and volunteers in the
community voluntary sector, housing
associations and independent care sector.
All workshops are fully funded.
