Modulus of Elasticity

We first found the density from the mass and volume of the bars.

We used three different methods to find out the Modulus of Elasticity.

We were over 99% accurate to the actual value, which is around 70GPa (Giga-Pascals)

The three methods we used were:• The value from the length, density, frequency and

thickness• The graph slope, thickness and density• The density, frequency and length on a bar which was

hit from it’s side (instead of in the middle).
