I hope you all had a great weekend and how nice it was that the rain fell and the temperature cooled on Saturday morning. Those cricket and rugby league tragics like myself, I feel your pain after watching NZ and South Africa win against our Australian teams.

Speaking of sport I was to spend an enjoyable night at a Barrier PSSA awards dinner and watch several Morgies win awards for some terrific efforts over the year. They will provide me more details for next weeks newsletter but of mention must be the glorious achievements of Logan Berryman in being awarded a number of awards and especially a ‘Blue’ in his sport of AFL. For those who don't understand a sporting Blue is a very, very high accolade and well done Logan.

Last Monday evening, our P&C night at McDonalds was a sight to behold. Well done organisers and Morgie teachers who became servers for the hour. Mr Stuart was not the only stand out who has discovered a second vocation should he ever need it. The community support, especially Morgan Street families who packed the restaurant and was spoken of highly by McDonalds owner Mark and Maryanne Craven who we wish to publicly thank for supporting our school.

CHRISTMAS TRAIN

On Thursday 4th December 2014 at 7am, the

Indian Pacific Christmas Train will be at the Broken

Hill Railway Station.

Adam Thompson and his band will be performing

and our 3-6 students are all invited to perform with

them. What an exciting invitation!

They will be singing and dancing to a Christmas

song that some of our students helped write.

A unique opportunity for Morgan Street students to

shine and put our school on the map. Students will

receive a note later in the week.
