    patients with actinic keratosis to reduce risk of squamous cell carcinoma.

    • Explain methods to increase patient satisfaction and improve patient outcomes via combination treatments for facial rejuvenation.

    • Discuss which injectables can be used in combination with laser and energy-based devices to safely improve patient outcomes.

    • Explain appropriate patient selection for tissue tightening techniques to achieve optimal cosmetic outcomes and patient satisfaction.

    • Describe facial anatomy for safe injection of soft-tissue fillers.

    • Perform injection techniques and proper filler placement to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

    • Describe the technology behind the various products and devices available for noninvasive body contouring.

    • Design evidence-based, guideline-driven treatment strategies for patients with atopic dermatitis based on disease severity with the goal of clear or almost clear skin.

    • Identify cutaneous manifestations of connective tissue disease and determine appropriate management strategies.

    • Describe evidence-based strategies for the diagnosis and pharmacologic management of hyperhidrosis.

    • Discuss the current systemic and topical therapies for onychomycosis and tinea fungal infections.

    • Diagnose and develop treatment strategies for hyper- and hypo-pigmentation disorders.

    • Describe the pathophysiology of psoriasis and its associated comorbidities.

    • Diagnose and treat patients with psoriasis appropriately, based on current clinical guidelines.

    • Increase routine screening for psoriatic arthritis in patients with psoriasis.

    • Design self-education and patient education programs as part of the treatment plan for rosacea treatment.

    • Discuss appropriate treatment strategies for rosacea, based on individual signs and symptoms as well as knowledge of the indications, efficacy, and risks of available and emerging rosacea therapies.

    • Differentiate seborrheic keratosis from other skin lesions, particularly melanoma.

    • Match patients with the most appropriate interventions for effective and cosmetically acceptable treatment of SK lesions.

    • Diagnose cutaneous manifestations of internal disease.
