Annual Schoolboys and Schoolgirls Tournament

The annual Schoolboys and Schoolgirls Tournament will be held at Pennant Hills Tennis Centre once again this year. Courts will not be available during this 7 day tournament (7am – 7pm). The tournament will be held on weekdays only, from Thursday 21st November – Friday 29th November. There will be NO TOURNAMENT PLAY on weekends, so courts will be available to hire as normal on Saturday 23 November and Sunday 24 November. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. This tournament is run by volunteers and many hours over these seven days are needed for it to be a successful event for ETDTA. Please email [email protected] or call us to add your name to the roster. We would like some help on the BBQ and in the kitchen selling drinks, toasties, chips etc. Even some time packing up in the afternoon, preparing for the next day will be gratefully accepted. If you are time poor and can’t help here during the day, some home baked cakes, biscuits and slices would be very much appreciated to sell to the players and families. Thank you in advance.

Christmas Hours Staff hours over the Christmas period have not yet been finalised, however we would like to remind all our members that courts are available to be booked at any time through our online booking system. Now that the automatic locks are now in place, as long as there is a booking in the system, the gates will unlock and the lights will turn on for the duration of that booking. Please make sure to finalise your online payment, as the booking will disappear if payment is not processed. Members will need to enter their ETDTA membership ID number when making the court booking in order to receive the discount. If you are unsure of your membership ID number please email us at [email protected] and we can provide it. The link for our online booking system can be found through our website, www.etdta.com, under the “court hire” tab. If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to speak to our pro-shop staff.

Court Lighting Final pole adjustments are being made before we replace the current halogen court lights with

LED lighting. We aim to start replacing these lights after the Schoolboys and Schoolgirls

Tournament. Thanks to everyone for your patience during this period.
