Overall Best of Breed/Division Kitten, Champi- onship & Premiership entry will be awarded based on points accumulated at the ring level (i.e. breed/division awards only- no finals included). Best of Breed/Division rosettes will be awarded in the Kitten, Championship and Premiership classes at the conclusion of the show. Breed awards will be scored for CFA regional and national awards. Additionally, Best-4th Best Champion/Open and Best-3rd Best Premier/Open will be awarded in all rings at Dr. Elsey’s CFA International Cat Show. BEST IN SHOW FINALS: The Highest Scoring Kitten, Championship Cat and Premiership Cat from each show (6 in total) will be in competition for Best In Show.These cats will be handled by Kathy Black, Wain Harding and Yaeko Takano who will then select the overall Best-In-Show winner and runners up for the combined shows. Parking at the showhall for vendors and exhibitors is $5.00 (1/2 price) for the weekend when you show your vendor or exhibitor pass (distributed at check-in on Friday).CHECK IN: Friday 6:00PM-9:00PM. Hall is closed and locked at 9:30PM; Saturday: 6:30AM-7:30AM, cats not benched by 7:30AM will be marked absentand late exhibitors must notify the clerk in EACH ring that they are present.JUDGING will start promptly at 8:30AM on Saturday and Sunday.OFFICIAL SHOW HOURS: 8:30AM to 5:00PM on Saturday and Sunday. No cats will be permitted to leave the show hall during official, posted show hourswithout permission of show management.BENCHING: Cats will be benched by breed. If entering more than one breed, you need to indicate with which breed you want your cats benchedor the entry clerk will make the decision for you.SCORING: All entries in Championship and Premiership (except Novice), and registered Kittens will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of unregistered kit-tens and novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number.

• Entries must be submitted online. Fax/Email/Mail/Phone entries will NOTbe accepted. Upon submission, exhibitors will receive an on-screen confirma-tion that the entry has been received. Exhibitors can also confirm receipt athttp://entries.cfa.org/listEntries.php.• Transferring either way between the Red and Purple shows is considereda substitution and the applicable fee applies.• All entries MUST be paid in full within 10 days of the receipt of entry orPRIOR to closing date, whichever is first as per CFA Show Rule 6.21.• Make checks payable to CFA and note “International Cat Show -RED”on the check. PayPal payments can be made at: payonline@cfaorg and note“International Cat Show –RED” in the message field.

• By entering exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges andthe show committee and to adhere to CFA show rules. Printed copies of CFAShow Rules may be obtained for $7.00 each from CFA, 260 East Main Street,Alliance OH 44601; electronic copies are available online athttp://www.cfa.org/Exhibitors.aspx under the Breeders and Exhibitors section.

*Use of ANY SIZE security cage will require the purchase of a double cage(extra 1/2 double cage for entered cat). The size of a single cage (1/2 cage) isapproimately 22” x 22” x 22” **End of row spaces are extremely limited.

ENTRY INFO

• All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching.• No declawed entries are permitted.• No kittens under 4 months of age are permitted in the show hall or on theshow grounds.• No cats or kittens may be confined in carriers.• No cats or kittens may be left in the show hall overnight.• This is a non-vetted show and it is strongly advised that all cats or kittensentered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensedveterinarin against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemperor feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calici viruses and rabies.It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and foundnegative for FeLV before entry.

• Litter will be provided. Bring your own food & water bowls and litter pans. • Show hall is heated and air conditioned.• Show Committee and CFA will not be responsible for lost or stolen articles.• First aid kit available at the CFA booth.• In case of emergency at the show hall, contact show management imme-diately and call 911 if necessary.• Hotels: Check online at www.cfainternationalcatshow.org for a listing ofhotels with whom CFA has negotiated special rates.• Airport Info: Detroit (DTW) is approximately 30 miles (45 minutes) fromthe show hall and hotels. Sorry, no transportation from the airport will be pro-vided.
